On 6th September, 2006, my cousin's son, Mark
Wright, died in Helmand Province, Afghanistan while trying to save the
lives of his colleagues. For his selfless act of bravery, Mark was
posthumously awarded the George Cross. A film, KAJAKI,
is now being made about the event and those involved. With the
involvement of industry professionals, including Gareth Ellis-Unwin
(Producer of The Kings Speech), it promises to be a quality production
and the filmmakers are seeking donations to bring the film to life. As
the following video explains, while this is a commercial venture, a
percentage of the profits will go to servicemen and their families who
are in need.
